The owner can pre-pay for the return shipping cost

There is no charge to resharpen to a factory edge.

Knifetime guarantee

for normal wear of the blade and components. If the owner uses the knife or tool for the intended purpose, cutting or slicing materials softer than the steel of the knife or tool, Conde Armory knives will last a lifetime.

What’s not covered:

Putting your knife or tool in the dishwasher voids the warranty.

Clean knives and tools by hand and dry only.

Using your knife as a pry tool. Conde Armory knives are designed for cutting and slicing, not prying. The Conde Armory Pry Bar is perfect for prying.

We test for a reasonable amount of flex and toughness, although knives are not made to pry.

Using your knife as a hammer or a blunt force object.

Piercing metal or hard surfaces/objects. We understand hard use is sometimes necessary. Conde Armory knives are tested to be tough as nails, although extreme use is not covered. Use at your own risk.

Extreme heat. If your knife is exposed to temperatures over 450 degrees for long periods, you’re at risk of ruining your blade's tempering cycle.

Extreme heat will soften your blades' steel and will need to be heat-treated and tempered to specs at the cost of the owner.

Conde Armory's in-house heat treatment follows specific instructions to maximize the performance of the steel used.

Blade maintenance tips

Knives or tools made from high-carbon steel.

Carbon steel is very durable, although it is not stainless steel. High carbon steel will naturally change colors (patina) with normal use and wear.

If not wiped and lightly oiled after handling the blade and exposed tang (spine of the handle) can start to form superficial rust.

It’s recommended to wipe off any oily residue our hands naturally release while holding a knife. Dry and lightly oil your blade after use to prevent rust spots.

WD-40, 3-in-1 oil, gun oil, or natural wax, and beard balm can be used to protect exposed steel.

If you plan to use your knife for cooking or cutting fruits or vegetables, wipe it dry and lightly oil your blade with a vegetable oil or canola oil after use.

Rust can be avoided with proper maintenance.

Stainless Steel knives and tools

Use the same maintenance techniques above, stainless steel can rust without proper care, just like any other steel. The benefit is that Stainless steel does not rust as quickly as carbon steel, requiring less overall maintenance.

Thank you for your purchase and support.
